Volunteer to make an impact

Want to make an impact and connect with people who need you? Here are a few ways to volunteer with us:

Sunday evening support

Do you love creating or supporting a community space? Or a worker bee who loves to serve? Do you love to cook and don’t have enough people at home to bake for? We’ve got a spot for you. Let us know what you’re interested in.

Host a donation drive

Is collecting and gifting your love language? Spread the opportunity to support Montavilla Collective and Hope and Bread by hosting a sock or underwear or cold weather clothing drive at your place of employment, worship, or school. We can provide fliers and guidelines. Contact us; we’d love to hear from you.

Visit, learn, and share

Guests are always welcome at our weekly Hope & Bread gathering in East Portland’s Montavilla Park at 82nd & Glisan on Sundays at 5pm. We look forward to welcoming you!

Spread the word

As a newly revitalized community gathering, we count on our friends to share what we have to offer. This can be as simple as following us on Instagram and encouraging your friends to do the same. We’re also happy to come talk about Montavilla Collective and Hope and Bread at your workplace or faith community.

Donate

Our people-powered organization depends on your gifts of time and also cash donations. If you would like to donate hats, socks, gloves, handwarmers, gently used winter coats or sleeping bags, you can bring them to us any Sunday at 5pm in Montavilla Park or contact us to arrange a pick up or drop-off. (Note that we are not accepting other clothing at this time.) You can make a one-time or recurring financial gift here.
